So I saw this ad a few minutes ago, and it made me smile almost instantly.
A few years ago my team was responsible for, and built, a lot of answers featured in that ad. Focussing on India (especially on songs) was an explicit decision we made. However, some time in at some point when we had a prioritization decision to make on these answers on different devices. I explicitly remember saying
“People will want to control music from their devices, but I don’t see media answers on the watch being that big a use case. We should ship these on the watch, but they can come later.”
So the feature became a lower priority, and shipped much later. And now a some years later, there’s an ad with one of India’s favorite cricketers ever using it. :-)
Given enough time, you can be wrong about anything. :-)
